Roast: Medium-dark
A rich, deep-seated brew that carries itself with the quiet confidence of a man who owns the land he walks on, and has no need to brag about it.
True, dependable character is a rare commodity in this world—most things are either too shallow to notice or too loud to tolerate. This Honduras single-origin, however, strikes a deep and comforting accord that commands immediate respect.
It arrives as an upstanding medium-dark roast, brought to life by the collective labor of 1500 grower/members from Cafe Organics Marcala. Cultivated at impressive altitudes of 1300-1700 meters in the mountainous Marcala, La Paz, Honduras region, these exceptional beans represent an honorable lineage of Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Lempira, & Typica varieties. They draw their robust, steady backbone from a unique foundation of Clay Minerals in the soil, giving the drink an undeniable strength of purpose.
Take a slow, deliberate sip and you will find a flavor profile that treats your palate with magnificent hospitality. It leads with the deep, smooth comfort of warm caramel, expands into a lively conversation of subtle spice, and leaves you with the honest, lingering sweetness of rich brown sugar.
The processing is managed with an old-school devotion to standard. The beans are fully washed and sun dried under an unclouded sky, stubbornly refusing any lazy shortcuts.
