I have long held that a man with a dull cup of coffee is a man with a dull outlook on life, and likely to be found wanting when the truth is required. This Uganda brew, however, is a different sort of miracle entirely.

It hails from the Siri region of the Kapchorwa District, grown at altitudes up to 8,200 feet (or 2500 meters if you're persnickety). Featuring a blend of Bourbon varietals like SL14, SL28, and Blue Mountain, it  possesses a light, nimble body and a mild acidity that doesn't harbor any ill will toward the palate. Within its depths, you'll find a sophisticated tangle of floral notes, rich chocolate, and dark fruits - a combination as rare and welcome as a cool breeze in a Texas summer.

It is a fully washed and sun-dried bean, treated with more respect than most politicians. Drink it with a clear conscience; it's a brew so honest and stout it'll stir your soul and keep you from sayin things you'll surely have to apologize for before the sun sets.
